Terms of use
Last updated 18 October 2026
Darecade is a free party-games website run by an individual based in Quebec, Canada. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who it's for
Darecade is for adults aged 18 and over. By using it you confirm you are 18 or older. The content is meant to be funny, social and a little bold, and is never sexual.
Playing safely
- Every dare is optional. Skip anything you don't want to do. Nobody should be pressured into a dare or a question.
- Don't do anything that could hurt you or anyone else, damage property, or break the law.
- Keep it to the people who are playing. Don't involve anyone who hasn't agreed to play.
- If someone says no or stop, that's the end of it.
Dares you add
On one phone, the names and dares you type stay in your browser on your device and are not sent to us. In an online room they go to our server so everyone in the room can see them (see the Privacy page). Dares added in a room must follow the same rules as ours: nothing sexual, risky or mean, and no personal details.
Playing online
Online rooms are private: only people with the link or code can join. In a room, and in your name:
- Be kind. No bullying, hate, threats or harassment.
- Nothing sexual.
- Don't share links, handles, phone numbers or other apps, and don't try to move anyone somewhere else to talk. The chat blocks most of this; trying to get round it is a breach of these terms.
- Don't pretend to be someone you're not.
The room's host (whoever started it, or the next person if they leave) can remove people from it. Anyone can report someone, which keeps the room's recent messages for us to review (see the Privacy page). We may remove anyone from a room, or block them from the site, for breaking these rules.
No guarantees
Darecade is provided free and "as is". We do our best to keep it working and its content suitable, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. You are responsible for what you choose to do while playing. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of the site.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
